W. P. Turner,

Kobe, Nov[ember] 24, 1894
Dear Dr. Candler:
Inclosed [sic] you will find a statement of the articles I have sent to the museum from Japan. They are now on their way to New York. There will probably be several little things found in the box that are not named here and no price given. I put them in to make up good measure. Japanese silver yen is very low, has been down to .50 but was at .55 when your
[page break]
order for $50.00 came.
Did that make me square with the Treasurer? He never sent me the note he held against me.
The freight on those boxes from New York to Oxford is to be paid yet. But I will try and arrange for it.
Hope the things will reach you in good condition and be a source of pleasure and profit to you all.
Yours faithfully,
W. P. Turner
