Description

This is a Buddhist monk seated in front of a low table with a series of devotional objects including a bell and mallet. There are several hanging scrolls on the wall behind him. His hands are clasped in prayer. He holds a rosary. Turner's inscription is "a Buddhist priest and his symbols of worship."
