Notes
A shopl selling several types of sandals as well as conon the left behind the geta bases. Both men's and women's sandals are displayed. The photographer (Kusakabe Kimbei?) has labelled the print, "C53 Japanese Shoe Shop." taining the materials necessary for making them. Bundles of the straps for geta (wooden sandals) hang from the ceiling while the wooden bases are stacked in the front of the stall on the left. The geta are displayed in the front racks and the zôri (straw sandals) are hanging from the ceiling on the left as well as in racks
