Modern Chûô-dôri, Ginza 4 chôme, around 1887. Visible in the upper right over the horse-drawn trolley car is the Kyôya Clock Tower. The photographer was probably standing near what is now the corner of Harumi-dôri and Chûô-dôri, looking northeast.
