This is a porcelain statue of Guanyin (Avalokitesvara), presumably brought from China to Japan in the Meiji Era (1868-1912). It appears to be in a color mingled by blue and white. The Guanyin is sitting on top of a base made of lotus flower. Even though the left hand of the Guanyin Statue is missing, the right hand is holding an infant.
